Formed as an unincorporated association in California, Radical World is developing a Stewardship Protocol through which participants share in the work, responsibility, guidance, and value created by the collaborative.
Radical World is not something to join after it has been built. It is something we are learning to build, hold, and guide together.
01 — Relationship
People enter through relationship.
Participation begins with a direct human connection. Sponsors welcome and accompany new people, helping them understand the collaborative, find their place in the work, and grow into responsibility over time.
People can take on different forms of responsibility over time.

Explore Radical World's inquiries, practices, projects, and relationships. Contribute observations, questions, skills, or practical work.
Care
Stewards
Accept ongoing responsibility for Radical World or a project. Help guide direction, carry decisions, and care for relationships and resources.

Sponsors
Welcome and mentor a new participant or steward. Provide context, guidance, and an enduring point of relationship.
These are not ranks. They are different relationships to participation, responsibility, and care. A person's relationship to the work may deepen or change over time.
